Welcome to St. Clement of Rome's Youth Ministry Page!
Our ministry exists to walk with teens as they discover who God is, who He is calling them to be, and how to live out that calling with joy. Inspired by the leadership and faith of St. Clement, we embrace the spirit of accompaniment, journeying alongside young people with compassion, consistency, and authentic relationship.
We are committed to helping teens discover their God-given purpose and embrace their faith with passion. We offer a place where young people can grow in prayer, build lasting friendships, and find the courage to live out their calling as bold disciples of Christ. Through mentorship and community, we journey together to help them become the saints God created them to be.
For more information or to get involved, contact our Youth Minister, Nicole Gomez, at [email protected] or 504.887.7821, ext. 7330.
St. Clement’s CYO is a welcoming community for teens in grades 8 to 12 where they can grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and receive guidance from trusted adult mentors, all within a supportive, faith-filled environment.

Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism as we are enriched by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands and anointing by the bishop, which seals and confirms the baptized in union with Christ as they are sent forth to bear witness to Christ by word and example.
"Recall then that you have received the spiritual seal, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of right judgment and courage, the spirit of knowledge and reverence, the spirit of holy fear in God’s presence. Guard what you have received. God the Father has marked you with his sign; Christ the Lord has confirmed you and has placed his pledge, the Spirit, in your hearts."
Students who are in 8th - 10th grade who are not enrolled in a Catholic high school are encouraged to join our high school faith formation program in order to be prepared for Confirmation preparation in 11th grade. Our high school faith formation program includes weekly small group faith formation sessions, monthly large group social gatherings, and other faith-forming experiences like retreats and service opportunities. Students will be able to sign up for a small group based on a day and time that works best for his/her schedule. For more information, please email youthminister@scrparish.org.
Our Parish School of Religion strives to provide the best in religious education and sacramental preparation. Our burning desire is to help your children become the faithful disciples they are called to be. We are committed to supporting you in educating your children in the Catholic faith, but we rely on you, as parents, to ensure that what is learned in class is practiced and discussed at home. As parents, you are the primary educators of the Faith to your children.
By choosing to send your child to the Parish School of Religion here at St. Clement of Rome, you are taking a great step in fulfilling the responsibility you undertook at their baptism, “raising them in the faith so that, keeping God’s commandments, they may love the Lord and their neighbor as Christ has taught us.”
